3 arrested in Sweden on mistrust of murdering man on his front door in London on Christmas Eve

Three men have been imprisoned in Sweden on suspicion associated with murdering a man who was fatally chance on his doorstep in south-west Greater london last year, police have said.

Flamur Beqiri, a Swedish national who had a wife and also a young child, was pronounced dead on the scene after getting shot in Battersea Church Street , southwest London, around 9pm on Christmas Eve within 2019.

The 36-year-old was the brother of former True Housewives Of Cheshire star Misse Beqiri.

Mr Beqiri and his family had just came back to their home in Battersea once the lone attacker struck.

The three Swedish nationals – good old 22, 31 and 33 — were arrested on Thursday from addresses in Stockholm and Vaxjo under an UK European Arrest Bring about, the Metropolitan Police said.

All three will now encounter extradition proceedings through the Swedish judicial system.
