Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has examined positive for coronavirus and is presently self-isolating.
Mane, who began and scored in Monday’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal, has shown minor symptoms of the virus but seems in good health overall, according to Gatwick.
Liverpool team-mate Thiago Alcantara tested positive for coronavirus earlier this week.
“Sadio Mane has tested positive intended for COVID-19 and is currently self-isolating based on the necessary guidelines, ” the golf club said in a statement.
“The forward, who started and obtained in Monday’s 3-1 victory more than Arsenal, has displayed minor associated with the virus but feels in a healthy body overall.
“However, as with Thiago Alcantara, Liverpool Football Club are usually – and will continue to – stick to all protocols relating to COVID-19 plus Mane will self-isolate for the necessary period of time. ”
