The Scot sits eight strokes off the earlier lead after carding a four-under 68 at Chervo Golf Club, using the highlight of his round arriving at the par-three second.
Jamieson struck a perfect six-iron in to the 191-yard hole, where his basketball pitched no more than a couple of feet through the pin before trickling into the mug for an unlikely ace.
“I felt like we had many and I obviously made a nice golf swing, ” Jamieson said. “It vanished and I actually asked whether this went it, but nobody across the green reacted and none of the people in the group reacted!
“There was a little ledge at the rear of the hole and I figured this had maybe dropped off the back again. As we were walking down I discovered that the pitch mark was close up and I thought it might have long gone in. Thankfully it had! inch

Jamieson moved further in the leaderboard by following back-to-back birdies through the fifth with an eagle-three at the 7th, only to drop a shot at the following and add two further bogeys on his back nine.
