Sofia Kenin remains on target in order to win her second Grand Throw title this year after seeing away from Petra Kvitova to reach her first French Open final.
The American improved to 16-1 in Grand Slams this season right after defeating Petra Kvitova in the 2nd semi-final.
The 21-year-old was a surprise winner of the Aussie Open in January but has shown that was no fluke along with her run here.
She played a hugely smart match to defeat seventh seeds Kvitova 6-4 7-5 and will undertake Polish teenager Iga Swiatek within the trophy decider on Saturday.
Kenin said: “I’m extremely proud of myself. It was a great go with. I’m super happy. I’ve completed it in Australia. I’ve had extremely hard matches the past two weeks and Now i am just so excited to be in the ultimate. ”
Kvitova had hoped to reach the girl first French Open final 3 years after making her comeback towards the sport in Paris following the terrible stabbing she experienced in the girl home in December 2016.
She became emotional on achieving the quarter-finals as the enormity from the journey she has been on sunk in and she had not dropped a collection prior to this match, but fought in windy conditions.
