Partey: Arteta' s exciting plans important to my move

Thomas Partey says Mikel Arteta’s “exciting” plans helped him choose to join Arsenal.

The brand new signing arrived at the Gunners’ exercising ground for the first time on Tuesday right after international duty and could make their debut against Manchester City this particular weekend.

The Ghana midfielder completed a £45m shift from Atletico Madrid on Deadline day Day and admits he should adapt quickly to the rigours from the Premier League.

Partey is looking to help Arsenal get back competing meant for major trophies after Arteta received the FA Cup in his 1st season as a manager, following their switch from being Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City.

That includes the Premier League name, but Partey said: “”It’s something which will be difficult.

“But we will be working towards it. I believe we are ready. We have to go radical to try and achieve. ”
