John Quinn was happy with his three runners who set up admirable performances in defeat within two of the Group One races from ParisLongchamp on Sunday.
Liberty Beach and Keep Busy completed third and fifth respectively within the Prix de l’Abbaye, while Secure Voyage was third in the Tarifs de la Foret.
For a moment, the North Yorkshire trainer thought Liberty Beach may lift the big sprint prize within the hands of Frankie Dettori, simply to go down by half a size behind Wooded, with Keep Occupied sticking on well to be defeated two lengths in all.
“They ran very well. Liberty Seaside ran great. It looked like probably she was going to do it, she simply got beat, but she happened to run really well, ” said Quinn.
“Keep Busy was ridiculous, but finished well. She happened to run a good race and wasn’t defeated far. ”
Secure Voyage put in good late function behind One Master and Earthlight, beaten half a length since the winner sealed a record hat-trick associated with victories in the Foret.
“It looked like they were going to move away from him, but he battled as well as was nearly going to get up, however the winning post came too soon, inch the trainer said.
Quinn is no rush to make programs for the trio, adding: “We’ll allow the dust settle before deciding what we should do with them. ”
