Arsene Wenger says his relationship with Jose Mourinho makes your pet feel like he is in kindergarten after the current Tottenham boss responded to being left out of the Frenchman’s autobiography.
Wenger’s life, My Life in Reddish colored and White , looks at their 22 years at Arsenal yet failed to mention his duels along with Mourinho, whose Chelsea side dethroned the ‘Invincibles’ in 2004-05.
Last week, Mourinho said the main reason he was not mentioned in the book had been because the former Arsenal manager “never beat me”.
“It won’t bother me. It’s permanent provocation. ” Wenger told French broadcaster Canal+ . “I feel like I’m in kindergarten along with him. But that’s part of their personality. ”
Mourinho’s rivalry with Wenger reached cooking point in 2014 when they bodily clashed on the touchline in a Leading League game at Stamford Link.
It took Wenger 14 attempts to finally defeat Mourinho, who once called him the “specialist in failure”, and he maintained only two wins in nineteen meetings.
“We beat him twice. We all won, and there were also a lots of draws, ” Wenger added.
“It’s not ‘you’ who also wins, you only participate in the triumph. It’s ‘us’ who win. The particular manager is there to get the most away from a team. ”
Wenger, who left Arsenal within 2018, was appointed FIFA’s main of global football development a year ago.
